A flagpole has been erected on Tylers Green front common to enable people to gather to partake in the national one minute’s silence on Sunday 18 September at 8pm.
A very short service, conducted by the Rev. Graham Summers, the Associate Priest at Holy Trinity, Penn and St. Margaret’s, Tylers Green, will begin at 7.50.
The ceremony will finish immediately after the silence.
The one minute’s silence is part of a nationwide “moment of reflection to mourn and reflect the legacy of Queen Elizabeth II”.
The Penn and Tylers Green book of condolence will be available in Tylers Green Village Hall on Sunday until shortly before the ceremony.
The Queen’s funeral will take place on Monday, following Sunday’s night’s remembrance.
