In all 130 crimes were reported compared to 121 in July.  In the Chepping Wye area, which includes Tylers Green and Hazlemere, 121 crimes were reported in August, a slight drop on July’s record figure of 133. Trees diseased – More ash trees are to be felled in the village following increasing attacks of Ash Dieback disease. They include one in the woodland at the rear of Tylers Green First School and another at the Old Bell House in Church Road, Tylers Green. Last week permission was sought to fell similarly diseased trees outside Tylers Green Middle School and Penn Lodge, in Church Road, Penn. A number of ash trees have been infected in Kings Wood, Common Wood and Penn Wood. Three Mountain Ash trees in the woodland behind the first school are also to be felled because of decay.
